Transiiton Year Parent and Student Information Evening takes place on Thursday 29 January at 7.00 pm in the Concert Hall.

Applications are now being accepted for admission onto our Transition Year Programme for 2026-27

Closing Date for submission of applications is 5 pm on Friday 6 February 2026

Note:

Form 3 students who intend to move directly into Form 5 will be afforded the opportunity to complete the Career Profiling and Aptitude Testing (Cost = €40) and to submit their subject preferences once the TY Application deadline has passed. The subject option blocks will not be finalised until the Form 3 subject preference deadline has passed

Mission

To promote the personal, social, educational and vocational development of pupils and to prepare them for their role as autonomous, participative, and responsible members of society.

Overall Aims

  1. Education for maturity with the emphasis on personal development including social awareness and increased social competence.
  2. The promotion of general, technical and academic skills with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and self-directed learning.
  3. Education through experience of adult and working life as a basis for personal development and maturity.
