The Drama Club has grown in popularity over recent years and now comprises both a Junior and Senior branch. Members of the Senior Drama Club facilitate the Junior Drama Club, thus developing their leadership capacity and providing positive role models for the younger students. During our opening sessions we play drama games and learn ensemble techniques. Later, the students choose a text before holding auditions and rehearsals. We perform either in school or at the Arklow Music Festival where we have been very successful, winning first place in both Junior and Senior categories, along with Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Producer awards.
