Leaving Certificate Results 2025 Viewing Scripts and Appealing Grades
Results issue – Friday 22 August
- The results of the Leaving Certificate 2025 will issue on Friday 22 August
- Students will have access to their results via the Candidate Self Service Portal from 10 am on the morning of the results
- Candidates will be able so save/print of copy of this provisional statement of results if desired
- Students are invited to come to the school to collect a printout of results and to discuss their results and any concerns or queries they may have. Printouts will be available in school from 11.00 am on Friday 22 August
Access to breakdown of marks – Tuesday 26 August
- Using the Candidate Sel Service Portal, candidates will be able to see the breakdown of marks for each component of their exam from Tuesday 26 August.
- If a student wishes to view their corrected script they must complete an application to do so for each subject on the Candidate Self Service Portal between 5 pm on Tuesday 26 August and 8pm on Wednesday 27 August.
Viewing Scripts
- The window for viewing scripts which are available online is from 9 am on Saturday 30th August – 9 am on Sunday 31st August and can take place at home.
- The window for viewing scripts which are not available online will be on Saturday 30thAugust and will take place in school. The school will be in contact with students to assign exact time of viewing session once the full list of students availing of this service is know
Appealing Results
- Students may appeal the results of any subject, whether they have viewed the scripts or not
- Application to appeal the result must be made online on the Candidate Self Service Portal between 10 am on Sunday 31st August and 5 pm on Monday 1st September
- The SEC have indicated that they intend to issue Appeal Results on Friday 26thSeptember via the Candidate Self Service Portal
All candidates registered on the Candidate Self Service Portal will receive a copy of the Candidate Information Guide 2 - Results and Appeals which will issue by email from the SEC on Wednesday 20 August
