The Jr. St. Vincent de Paul Conference meet weekly at lunch time. Students from across all years are invited to join the conference. The group meet to discuss various social justice issues which are happening in Ireland and around the world and we work to raise money for our local SVP branch in Arklow town. Currently the group consists of 15 members.

The conference holds awareness campaigns twice a year in the school which centre around different social justice issues and follow this up with different fundraising activities. Last Year the theme chosen was ‘Hidden Poverty’. From February until the end of the year the theme was ‘Spreading Kindness’.

In 2019 the conference won the overall group prize in the Wicklow Garda Youth Awards for their commitment to social justice in their community. They were also recognized at a ceremony given by Arklow Municipal Council where they received a certificate which acknowledged the work that they do.
