Art Tour

Thirty-two Form 6 art students travelled to Dublin for a full day of art appreciation on Nov. 20th. The girls visited the National Gallery on Merrion Square, where they had an informative lecture tour on a range of aspects relating to their Leaving Cert course. Areas covered included, Caravaggio and the Baroque School, the Renaissance, Jack B. Yeats exhibition, and Irish Art. This was followed by a visit to Trinity College to view the Book of Kells and many other ancient manuscripts. In the afternoon, they went to see the RHA Exhibition (Royal Hibernian Academy).
